Motorway driving lessons

These will cover, Joining the motorway, changing lanes, overtaking, safe separation distance, looking into the distance, being aware of traffic behind and effective use of mirrors. Use of signals, high sided vehicles, effects of cross winds, fatigue, taking breaks, emergencies, breakdowns, the hard shoulder, emergency telephone.

These are some of the topics covered in a 2 hour motorway driving lesson. It sounds and looks a lot but it really is easy to get used to. I haven’t met a pupil yet who didn’t enjoy a motorway lesson and at the end they have all said they were ready to make a real journey.
